I just remembered the taste of love.
This summer I was having the hardest day at work, very tired after two consecutive 3 hour tours and going out for the third and asked mom if she could bring me something small to snack on.
She brought me:
- a sandwich with ham, cheese and freshly picked rucola from her garden
- two juice boxes
- two of her homemade ham buns
- an apple, cut in 6 pieces with the center cut out
As I sat below deck, munching on the sandwich, I simply tasted the love. Best lunch I've ever had.
